Polar-Optics lenses are manufactured using the highest quality optics which meet or exceed:
-
ANSI Z80.3,
-
FDA signal light and impact tests
-
Australian AS 1067.1-1990
-
European Standard EN 1836:1997
Successfully tested to speeds in excess of 170MPH and Temps of -25F
They provide a Minimum of 99.8% Harmful UV protection and block glare. By covering only the top 2/3's of the helmet shield, Polar-Optics lenses create a gradient effect allowing for un-polarized views when traveling through the woods without removing it from your helmet or lifting your shield. This gives the wearer optimal coverage and protection yet remains small enough to fit in a coat pocket. Each Polar-Optics lens ships complete with adhesive back hook & loop fastener to place on the helmet shield, the removable polarized lens and a soft cloth pouch to store it in when not in use.

Why Polarized?
Tinted or blocker type lenses are just colored plastic that limit the total amount of light reaching the eye of the wearer. Polarizing acts as an invisible mini-blind that actually blocks reflected light (glare) off of surfaces such as frozen snow, ice, water, windshields and road surfaces. By eliminating Glare, only quality light reaches the eye reducing eye fatigue due to stress, strain and overexposure.

Optical Quality Polarized Lens!
Optical Quality means undistorted views through the lens. All Polar-Optics lenses are manufactured from the same high quality polarized lens material used to produce popular name brand sun glasses that cost much more. When looking for any sun lens product always ask
1. Does it meet or exceed industry standards such as:
ANSI Z80 and FDA Signal and Impact tests
Australian AS 1067.1-1990
European Standard EN 1836:1997?
2. Does it provide a Minimum of 99.8% Harmful UV Protection?
3. IS IT POLARIZED?
