Lens Installation

Clean the top and sides of your existing helmet shield with the rubbing alcohol swab and dry completely.

1. Hold your lens up to your helmet shield to determine best mounting position of fastener.  The top center of the lens should be lined up even with the top center of your existing helmet shield and the sides of the lens should be used to mark the angle and location of each side fastener.
*Bike Helmets:Fastener should be mounted just outside of the visual area while wearing your helmet.
2. Carefully remove the backing from the long thin strip of hook fastener and place it firmly along the top edge of your helmet shield (See Photo Below) Use care not to touch the adhesive side of the fastener.

MountingD

3. Temporarily place the lens onto the fastener on the shield to determine placement and angle of the two side strips.
4. Carefully remove the backing and mount each side strip.
5. Carefully remove the lens from shield and place it in the storage pouch.  Re-apply pressure on fastener to insure it has not pulled away from shield.
6. Allow a minimum of 12 hours for the fastener adhesive to cure prior to placing your lens on helmet.  Special Acrylic based adhesive is fully cured in 24 hours.
7. After adhesive cures, place your lens on top of the hook fastener and press in place.  Use care not to rub the lens and shield surfaces together.

*Bike Helmet lenses should have a small air gap along the bottom edge of the len

*Snow Helmet lenses should be firmly sealed along the bottom edge of the lens to keep snow dust and moisture from accumulating between the lens and your helmet shield.

ALWAYS Remove your lens from your helmet prior to cleaning!  Cleaning your lens while on the helmet will cause the two lens surfaces to come in contact and possibly mar or scratch!
